Como Tereza, só achei referências ao "Y2K bug". Poderia ser um documento velho, escrito antes desta data, mas estranho o fato que este problema era de software e não de "materials, equipment, tools and supplies".

Mas o nível de pânico (irracional?) na época era muito alto e é possível que alguns compradores exigiam uma cláusula assim, mesmo sem necessidade.

Conforme a Wikipedia, o termo usado em PT era "problema do ano 2000".
