Prezados Colegas,

Gostaria de saber a melhor tradução da expressão ENCLOSED TANK no seguinte contexto:

"This Policy does not insure the following property:

Water that is contained in any ENCLOSED TANK, piping system ou any other processing equipment."

Devo traduzir ENCLOSED TANK como "tanque no interior de um recinto" ou alguém sugere alguma tradução mais adequada? Será que o termo ENCLOSED se refere ao tanque, ao sistema de encanamento ou aos outros equipamentos, ou somente ao tanque?

Desde já agradeço sua valiosíssima ajuda!!

Acredito que "enclosed" aqui se refira a "abrangido pela apólice", não tanto às propriedades físicas do tanque em si: ser aberto ou fechado. No fundo deveria ser:

[...] não assegura as seguintes propriedades:
água contida em qualquer tanque, tubagem ou qualquer outro equipamento [...] abrangidos pela mesma (apólice).

Deveria corrigir: não "tanque abrangido" mas antes tanque [...] abrangidos!

Abrangidos refere-se aos diversos elementos enumerados (tubagem, outros equipamentos)! plural portanto!

Em relação à sua resposta:

Pelo que eu percebo: THIS POLICY DOES NOT INSURE = WATER (IN TANKS, PIPE SYSTEM OR ANY OTHER PROCESSING EQUIPMENT).

Talvez esteja a perceber mal, mas de facto o que me parece é tratar-se da água e não do tanque. Mesmo em inglês talvez por outras palavras ficaria algo assim:

"Tanks, pipe systems and other processing equipments are enclosed in this insurance policy, but not the water contained in them." ?

Asker: Olá Pedro!! Antes de mais nada gostaria de agradecer sua gentil contribuição. No caso, a cláusula intitula-se PROPERTY NOT COVERED, iniciando-se com "This policy DOES NOT INSURE the following property". por isso, creio que o termo "enclosed" refira-se ao tanque ou cisterna.
