Vemos na imagem acima as informações de um CD musical que contém uma faixa de dados multimedia (CD Enhanced). Este é um CD industrial, não-gravável. Se colocássemos um CD virgem, seria indicado que este está vazio, assim como o total de tempo e espaço disponível.

Não sei a melhor forma de dizer isso em português, mas isso é a mesma coisa que a outra pergunta com a mesma palavra - foi você que fez? Non-appendable media?

Quando você grava um CD ou DVD, o software que faz a gravação (CD burner) pergunta se o disco vai ser multi-sessão ou não. Se você optar por multi-sessão, no futuro você pode gravar mais coisas no espaço que sobra no disco.
