"Caixa delimitadora que contém elementos/objectos", se quisermos seguir o mesmo raciocínio que entendo da frase que indicou: "bounding boxes, allowing you to build components which are..."
Será que ajuda assim? Acho que é mais perceptível e o termo não se "perde".
