As regras para o casamento entre ou com cidadãos estrangeiros são as mesmas que se aplicam ao de dois portugueses, devendo, no entanto, os noivos estrangeiros entregar um certificado de capacidade matrimonial passado pelas autoridades competentes do seu país de origem.
