Como não tenho certeza se isto se aplica ao contexto, vou colocar aqui como "medium confidence level." Mas uma vez, em um trabalho de interpretação consecutiva, o cliente usava APPLICATION o tempo todo para se referir ao BOLETIM DE MEDIÇÃO das contratadas. Fazia sentido, pois os boletins eram apresentados para as contratadas, com o resumo de suas atividades, para que recebessem seus pagamentos.
