Olá Ana Luísa, entendo a sua dúvida. Mas em PT-BR, "correia" é o nome do material em si. "uma correia" é a peça feita para esteiras, fabricada de correia. Veja no link que coloquei a tradução "belting", que significa o material para fabricar "belts". Se preferir, poderia usar o termo "lona reforçada", pois correia não passa de ser um tipo de lona reforçada.
