Could it be

?

Derme: papila do pêlo

* LANUGEM E VELUS (finos e pálidos)-feto e recém-nascidos
* PÊLOS TERMINAIS (grossos e podem ser escuros)-adultos

Composto:

* Cilíndros de queratina forte, flexível e afilado.
* Cada pêlo associa-se a uma glândula sebácea.
* Freqüentemente associa-se a uma glândula apócrina.
* O músculo eretor do pêlo se insere no fio e quando se contrai causa a "pele arrepiada".
* Órgão sensitivo- capaz de detectar o mais leve toque.

Decorativo no mundo moderno

Ciclo do pêlo:

I have had another look. Here is something else:

As unhas surgem no segundo mês (AZULAY, 1999

Unfortunately, I don't do Portuguese, but I know I am unconvinced by the above contribution.

The epidermis of thick skin follows the contours of the dermal ridges, producing the epidermal ridges of the fingerprint. The dermal ridges penetrate into the epidermis as true papillae, and are separated by epithelial downgrowths called interpapillary pegs (Thick Skin 1).
