Tumour material will be submitted to the laboratory as at least 4 10 μm unstained sections mounted on non-charged microscopic slides. If an equivalent quantity of material is available as sections of different thickness, this is acceptable. It is recommended that the sections should contain at least 20% tumour pathology.
