English to Portuguese translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Metallurgy / Casting / Soldas | | English term or phrase: slot weld | Como traduzo para o português do Brasil?
No Google e no glossário que o cliente me forneceu é traduzida como "plug weld": solda de tampão.
Só como referência, o banco terminológico da CE traduz por soldadura em entalhe (no BR, seria "soldagem em entalhe") e ângulo em entalhe.
Não são dois tipos diferentes de solda?
A trecho onde ocorre:
"Plug and Slot Weld Requirements
The details of plug and slot welds made by the SMAW,
GMAW (except GMAW-S), or FCAW processes are described
in 2.4.5.1, 2.4.5.2, 2.4.5.4, and 2.10.4, and they
