I am translating the subtitles for a Woody Allen film, Love and Death.
At some point, he says:
I grew to full manhood.
Actually, five foot six,

*which is not full manhood in Russia,
but you can own property.*

Over 5'3" you can own land.
Under 5'3" you need permission from the tsar."

The translation of bit between the stars can't exceed 86 characters, including spaces, so I must be very economical with my wording.

It needs to sound natural in Portuguese, obviously.

European Portuguese ONLY, please.

A tradução de manhood é adulto, mas como expressão portuguesa é: tornei-me um homem.
Aí faz menção ao tamanho por isso, talvez o mais correcto seja: já estou crescido.
É um pouco dificil.

Obrigada pela ajuda de todos. A dificuldade era transcrever o humor da frase, claro. Usei "Cresci e tornei-me homem- Na verdade, 1.67m, o que tecnicamente não é maioridade total na Rússia, mas pode possuir-se propriedade".

Explanation:
Talvez se utilizar maioridade, poderia até haver um certo trocadilho, que é tão usado por Woody Allen, já que maior idade também poderia se referir ao tamanho.
Idade adulta também poderia ser utilizada mas acho que maioridade seria bom em virtude da referência a altura que é feita após.
