Não é "beads" -- é "bed".

GRANULAR BED FILTER = filtro de leito granular

Vc vai achar variações na denominação desse tipo de filtro:
- filtro de leito poroso granular OU filtro de leito granular poroso;
- filtro biológico de leito flutuante granular (floating bed biofilter);

I failed to explain there are two things here:
"filter bed" (where "bed"=leito) and "bead filter" (filtro granular).

So a "bead bed filter", which corresponds in Portuguese to "filtro de leito granular", can be simply described as a "bead filter" (filtro granular).
