Sports. The rectangular area between the wickets in cricket, 22 yards (20.1 meters) by 10 feet (3.1 meters). Also called wicket.


Tem certeza que se trata de estádios de futebol? Para mim, me parece que estão falando de estádios de baseball, daí falar no "pitch", que é onde o arremessador lança a bola a ser rebatida. Aquele lugar onde fica o arremessador é o "pitch".

Infelizmente, não sei se há um nome consagrado em português para o "pitch".
