|English term or phrase: able to push up on hands and knees|
I am translating 3 sentences for a toy manufacturer from English to Continental Portuguese.
The last one is:
"Detach this toy from crib when child is able to push up on hands and knees"
What is the best way to render the phrase, "when child is able to push up on hands and knees?"
It should be noted that this is a stage of development that comes before crawling.
Thank you in advance!

"quando a criança for capaz de sustentá-lo com as mãos e os joelhos"
The complete sentence would be:
"Solte (desprenda) este brinquedo do cercado (ou berço) quando a criança for capaz de sustentá-lo com as mãos e os joelhos"
Hope it helps you.
