I just want to make sure the correct translation for sub-sovereign is "subssoberania" (I have a hard time with the double "s" there). Please confirm.

subsoberano
Explanation:
Michaelis has this word, with just one "s", but only as a noun. However, it does have the word "soberano" as an adjective. I wonder can "subsoberano" not be an adjective too?
