Pothook é aquele gancho de pendurar panelas que existiam em cozinhas de antigamente, ainda existem em versão moderna.

Possivelmente, o gancho normal usado para manter a janela aberta (cheguei a morar em uma casa que tinha um desses) estava quebrado e foi preciso improvisar com um gancho de cozinha. O Espírito citou isso para provar que estava a par do que aconteceu.
