A expressão "scanner plano" não é usada em informática.
Além disso, pessoalmente não gosto dela. Creio que o mais correto seria usar "scanner de mesa" ou "digitalizador de mesa", se quisermos ser puristas, mas como a resposta já foi escolhida, desejo sucesso.
