Acabei encontrando uma definição dessa tal locomotiva lesma num site especializado em transporte rodoviário. Só não consegui foi entender muito bem como é que alguém economiza combustível com ela. Veja só: A locomotive which receives its electrical current to run the traction motors from
another locomotive. They are not equipped with their own diesel and therefore must be operated with another locomotive.

De qualquer forma, muito obrigado por toda essa pesquisa. E muito obrigado por iluminar minha manhã com este sorriso tão simpático. :o))
