English to Portuguese translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Tourism & Travel | | English term or phrase: shoulder day | "Shoulder day" is the industry term in meetings/events for the day(s) before or after the official event will occur. These dates are often reserved only for meeting/event staff for example. I would like to know if there is an industry-specific translation in Brasil for this term, or if it is simply "dia antecedente", etc. Please only respond if you are familiar with this industry.
An example:
"The XYZ World Congress is requesting a quote for 100 single occupancy hotel rooms for a meeting to occur on September 19-23. Additionally we need to know room rates for 10 single occupancy rooms for a September 18 preceding shoulder day."
Muito obrigada! |
