Birds may ingest too much grit and became impacted. Some veterinarians advocate withholding grit because of this risk. There do not appear to be any adverse consequences from withholding grit from psittacine species.
Casca de ostra moída e minerais moídos são tipos de “grit”. Portanto, a tradução “areia” ou “pequeninas pedras” não serve. Nem cascalho moído. Alguém sabe, por favor, que grit é esse usado para alimentar papagaios?
