For the Work verifiably rendered the Contractor shall be entitled to milestone payments in accordance with the payment schedule in Schedule [1.3.6]. Milestone payments and compensations according to Clause [4.4] shall be charged by the Contractor in partial invoices to be made out in the format specified in the Schedule [10.3]. If claimed in conformity with the Contract, the amounts of the partial invoices shall become due 30 days from receipt of the invoice by the Principal. The amount of the payments made on partial invoices and invoices according to Clause [4.4] must not exceed 90 percent of the total lump-sum fee.
