Ideea: tank bay (de ex.) este spaţiul rezervorului/rezervoarelor de combustibil (în aripi). Totuşi, în jurul rezervorului mai există spaţii (la bordul anterior şi posterior al aripii). Acestea sunt dry bay. Conţin instalaţii şi dispozitive anexe (hidraulice, electrice, mecanice, extinctoare etc). La fel pt. engine bay şi alte bay.
Cred că există termen românesc, dar nu îl ştiu găsi.
