Gifts and entertainment that are given and received and that do not aim to influence a decision are part of the normal course of business. They help to promote good relations and/or to mark special occasions. This manual provides information on the risks associated with gifts and entertainment and how these can be mitigated. It also provides guidance on our policies, including financial thresholds and approval processes. Under UK and local anti-corruption laws, gifts and entertainments given or received to unfairly influence business can result in fines and other penalties to the company, as well as the employee. The company supports the giving and receiving of entertainment as part of normal business relations. Sometimes, several business meals and events per year are needed in order to establish and/or maintain the relationship with a major client, supplier or customer. In these businesses justified situations, where the entertainment is repeated many time during the year between the same parties, it is recommended to alternate whose party will pay for such events.

Cred ca in cadrul acestui context entertainment are doua sensuri si de ospitalitate sau gazduire si de distractie (i).
Adica au loc deplasari in delegatii cum se spunea in Romania si uneori, in functie de importanta oaspetilor cazarea si masa sunt platite de catre gazde, precum se ofera si cadouri si distractie(i)... Parerea mea! :)
