Am optat pentru *spaţiu suborbital*, având în vedere că este vorba de spaţiul aflat deasupra plafonului de zbor aerian comercial şi de spaţiul aflat sub orbita sateliţilor.
Repet sugestia iniţială pentru Irina-Maria Foray: airspace+near space=atmosfera terestră. În lipsă de alte idei, fiind vorba şi despre subtitrare, s-ar putea combina.
"airspace and NEAR space" am vrut să spun. Scuze, am făcut copy&paste din textul de tradus fără să-mi dau seama.. Iar in legătură cu definiţia airspace din dictionarul merriam-webster: "the space lying above the earth"... no comment...Poate vă comentaţi puţin şi propriul răspuns însă...

Cat despre "outer space" sa faca parte din atmosfera, no comment!
