asa cum se poate vedea in cealalta traducere de pe proz.com, accentul se pune pe faptul ca opinia este a oamenilor *care apartin comunitatii locale*, sper sa nu sune pleonastic, de aceea mi se pare potrivita traducerea "opinia comunitatii". Varianta "opinie publica" nu implica o anumita comunitate locala, cel putin asa consider eu.

la urma urmei, e vorba de opinia publica, de aceasta data imbracata in tainele exprimarii sofisticate... in plus, in dezbaterile publice, sa spunem, "europene" exista o diferentiere subtila intre "omul de rand" si "cetateanul" care exprima o opinie pulblica, dar traducatorul poate opta pentru opinie publica, cred eu, linistit.
