Dacă textul-sursă face referire la codul civil olandez, este foarte probabil să fie o traducere din olandeză şi să fi scăpat un articol în engleză; termenul corect de fapt este acts in _the_ law, adică acte juridice, sau tranzacţii / afaceri / operaţiuni juridice.

- negotium juris, ce semnficia intelegerea propriu-zisa dintre parti

VI. Article 16: Recognition as a Person Before The Law
6.2. Moreover, there is still the problem of the insufficient definition of the conditions under which a person can be stripped of his ability to *perform acts in law* or under which this ability can be restricted.
