Explanation:
Sunt aproape sigură că e olivă. Copilul unei prietene de-ale mele poartă proteză auditivă şi chestia aceea care vine în ureche se numeşte olivă. Mi se pare că este făcută dintr-un fel de silicon. Vezi şi link-ul de mai jos, este destul de edificator.

Proteza intraauriculara


Explanation:
Protezele retroauriculare au o piesa care se introduce in ureche: oliva (vezi figura) - acesta este individuala si se executa dupa un mulaj al urechii respective. Protezele intraauriculare sunt indicate in cazul unor scaderi mai mici de auz. Ele sunt executate tot dupa un mulaj. Dupa dimensiuni si amplasare ele pot fi complet in ureche (invizibile) sau putin vizibile la suprafata pavilionului urechii.

Behind the ear aids (BTE)
BTE aids have a small plastic case that fits behind the pinna (ear) and provides sound to the ear via air conduction of sound through a small length of tubing, or electrically with a wire and miniature speaker placed in the ear canal. The delivery of sound to the ear is usually through an earmold that is custom made, or other pliable fixture that contours to the individuals ear.

Proteza auditiva retroauriculara (BTE) – asa cum indica numele sau, acest tip de proteza este amplasat in spatele pavilionului urechii. Contine un microfon, un amplificator si un receptor. Corpul protezei auditive este instalat in spatele urechii, fiind ancorat cu ajutorul unei piese numite oliva. Aceasta ghideaza sunetul si este realizata dupa mulajul urechii.
Oliva – serveste la ancorarea protezei in ureche, in cazul protezelor auditive retroauriculare. Are si rolul de a ghida sunetul din proteza auditiva spre conductul auditiv.
