Este doar propunerea unei abordari "rasturnate"

Este clar ca este vorba despre siguranta si de o comutare automata (la neindeplinirea unei conditii dependente de operator)
Denumirea este sugestiva si acopera toate situatiile de incapacitate a operatorului (pilot, mecanic, etc), nu numai pe cea extrema.

Probabil,daca nu sunt indeplinite toate cerintele de siguranta dependente de operator - de ex, sa apese un buton la anumite intervale de timp, sa tina apasata permanent o pedala, etc - comutatorul "simte" lipsa operatorului, recunoaste o "nonconformitatea majora" si se activeaza automat.
