Fara intentia de a contrazice raspunsurile bune primite deja, tin sa exprim un punct de vedere personal:
In general, sunt adeptul preluarii si folosirii in limba romana a unui termen strain in forma originala doar daca aceasta si-a gasit in mod firesc un loc in vocabularul nostru - de ex, laptop, etc - raspunzand unei nevoi de exprimare a unei noi realitati, etc fiind totodata si o dovada a evolutiei naturale a limbii romane.
Mai mult chiar, in cazul unui termen cu un sens foarte complex, cu diferite nuante particulare in functie de domeniu de aplicare - bancar, imobiliar, general de afaceri, etc - de cele mai multe ori, termenul original precizeaza cel mai bine, cuprinzator si concis sensul sau in contextul dat.
Din acest motiv, cred ca "due diligence" trebuie sa apara mentionat in paranteza. fiind precedat de o posinila traducere in limba romana a elementelor sale caracteristice generale.
(= este o EVALUARE tinand cont de multiple criterii - valori, calitate, riscuri, etc, toate adaptate domeniului in cauza - facuta INAINTE de cumparare/preluare/fuziune de catre un expert neimplicat direct in tranzactiei/EXTERN).
