Treatment
If moving lice are found, chemical treatments can be used that kill the lice. In general, a single treatment is two applications one week apart, but it is important to follow manufacturers’ guidelines on this. Another way of treating head lice infection is the "bug busting" method. This is the removal of lice by wet combing with conditioner every three to four days for two weeks. This method can be an effective way of treating the infection, but it should only be used by those who are prepared to take the time to do very thorough combings.
