Hack-up”: To outfit a vehicle as a taxicab and obtain
approval from the Commission for that vehicle to serve as a
taxicab for the first time.
When a taximeter is installed in preparation for “hack-up,” the taximeter business owner, in addition to complying with subdivisions (a) and (b), shall:
- prepare a vehicle “hack up” certification form approved
by the Commission at the completion of the preparatory
work for vehicle “hack-up”; etc
