"Other receivables (accrued income, loans granted and other short and long-term receivables), except for receivables acquired for the purpose of reselling, are carried at amortised cost.

The amortised cost of short-term receivables normally equals their original invoice amount less provision made for impairment of these receivables; therefore short-term receivables are carried in the balance sheet at the collectible amount.

Long-term receivables are initially recognised at the fair value of the consideration receivable with interest income calculated in subsequent periods by using the effective interest rate method."
