|English term or phrase: a man at C&A|
He was a man at C&A, but youґll never know it.
C&A is a pan-European clothes manufacturer and distributor (www.c-and-a.com), but this will tell nothing to a Russian reader. So Iґm anxious to know your suggestions as to the the possible connotations implied ( i.e. are the C&A clothes considered chic or motley or what?) so I could translate it in a descriptive way.
Thanks in advance.

I would suggest to change the C&A with manufakturnaya fabrika. They were famous in Russia.
