Explanation:
Hi, SAP is a German software concern that is prominent in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) field. SAP is never translated. I know this personally because my company has SAP's ERP software installed on our computers. SAP along with Baan, Peoplesoft, Oracle are major ERP vendors. You might consider translating something to the effect of "programmnoye obespechenie paketom SAP". It's up to you. It's perfectly fine for you not to translate or expand on ERP or SAP .

Thanks. Your answer was helpful.

In fact I had looked up the acronym in the Internet and had found several definitions for SAP, including the one you proposed. The problem was that I was having hard time deciding which of them should be used, as all of them could be used in the same context. Finally I decided not to translate the acronym, which solved all the problems, but I am about sure it stands for the software of the German company in this context.

SAP

Explanation:
From my experience, SAP is never translated into Russian, just like the names of other software packages such as Windows, Microsoft Word, etc.

SAP

Explanation:
Completely agree with the above. Never seen SAP being translated into Russian. All the names of software are left as they are.

This is not a final answer to your questions, but it may be of some help. Actually there are many notions abbreviated as SAP. You need to know details to pick the right one. See below in the Acronym Finder.
