Full-line forcing is an extreme form of the former where the retailer must stock the full range of the manufacturer’s products. Under quantity forcing the retailer is required to purchase a minimum quantity of a certain product. Under fidelity discounts, the retailer receives discounts based on the proportion of its sales coming from the manufacturer. Such arrangements could make entry difficult for both manufacturers and retailers.
