This is facilitated by placing 2700 ml of modified **0K solution** (1.0 g/L ammonium sulphate, 0.5g/L di-potassium orthophosphate, 0.16 g/L magnesium sulphate heptohydrate, pH 1.6-1. 8) into an agitated aerated stirred tank reactor heated to the required temperature.

Строго говоря, писать надо через букву "с" - бескалиевый ("к" - глухая согласная, поэтому "бес"), хотя в интернете встречаются оба варианта

Explanation:
м.б., это так обозначили "О.К.", т.е. окей. По составу на буфер раствор не похож, да и подкислен, похоже, чем-то, если pH правильно приведен в исходнике.
Т.е., скорее всего, это можно еще и перевести и как "окончательный раствор", и т.д.

Суммируя все сказанное в различных вариантах, наиболее подходящим переводом было бы (с моей "кочки" зрения), такой:
"использовали раствор следующего состава (в скобках - привести), основанный на (или исходным для которого является) бескалиевом растворе (состав... ) с добавлением 0,5 г\л K2HPO4.
Длинно, то хотя бы точно.
