These recommendations address international best practices which need to be done by the SPD such as visits to the alarm panels 1-2 times/year, battery change-outs, client interference with the original installation, identifying problems at clients by looking at AES and SIS automation software, implementing double technology detectors, shunting door locks, protection of the system from power fluctuations, etc. Only by doing this can you significantly lower the unwanted alarm signaling traffic which risks causing network problems like you had in October. |
