швейной терминологии здесь неуместно. Англоязычные термины не имеют прямого соответсвия в русском языке. Необходимо использовать стандартные русские термины.

слева в колонке продукции есть и self tapping and self drilling screws. stitching screws "Are a multipurpose screw used for fixing general fixtures into timber or steel" . Теперь посмотрю русский эквивалент.

fixing screws are for securing decking panels to purlins.
stitching screw for the EPDM membrane and top hats to decking panels. Although there is no mention as to how stitching screws are used. I'm guessing they're for fixing EPDM membrane (edges)

The two decking panels will be secured to the purlins with the use of the nominated fixing screws at the appropriate centres through the trough of the panels.

4. A series of top hat sections will be attached to the decking panels at the appropriate centres using the nominated fixing screws.

не могу пока что понять, в чем разница fixing and stitching screws. ясно одно в первом случае функция, во втором способ. Придется покопаться.
