Доп. поиск обнаружил статью об оксфордских делах, где упомянута Конгрегация:
"Когда финансирование было закончено, они предложили работать бесплатно, но были обвинены членами Университетской Конгрегации в порче здания резьбой, которая была запрещена. Согласно Экленду, они в ответ изобразили над входом карикатуру на Конгрегацию в виде попугаев и сов. Экленд заставил их удалить головы с этих скульптур"

Изначально было не ясно, как по-русски Congregation - поэтому уверенность была 4. Теперь - никаких сомнений: иначе, чем Конгрегацией, не назвать, т.к. прямых русских эквивалентов нет |
