Vadim Ivankov: А нет ли тут подвоха? Ведь речь идет о повреждении "области памяти для записи файлов" (фактически,об аппаратной неисправности блока), а о повреждении файла (пусть и не работы, а с конфигурационными параметрами) идет речь в той же строчке чуть ранее...

-> Не думаю, что речь об аппаратном повреждении. Тогда говорилось бы просто о памяти, без разделения на файлы. А тут, дословно, наверное "повреждение файла XXX в памяти""
