Social Sciences - Government / Politics | | English term or phrase: legacy of centralized decisionmaking | Hi everybody, this is the whole sentence:
"To dismantle Rwanda’s legacy of centralized decisionmaking, which impeded the effective fight against poverty and contributed to the dramatic sociopolitical events of 1994, the government initiated an inclusive, community-based approach to development".
It's part of a test translation I did for a Russian translation agency. I am from Italy, so it's quite hard for me to translate from English into Russian, despite the fact that I'm an advanced speaker of both languages. I would appreciate it if you could help me, I have already handed the translation in, but I'm very interested in knowing how to properly translate this sentence. |
