Не уверен, что это именно "внезапно разбогатеть".

Известная фраза:

"Everything he touches turns to riches"
"все, к чему он ни прикоснется, превращается в золото"

И тут сама life превращается, а не человек. Про человека бы сказали: "he has got rich", наверное.
