объясню суть!

сначала был такой текст на русском:
Согласуют существенные условия договора (договоров), закрепляющего формат участия Подрядчика в Проекте;

я его перевел так
Agree upon essence of the contract (-s) determining the Contractor’s status within the Project.


потом этот пункт правил англичанин-юрист и написал так
Agree upon the contracting principals and develop either a Master Services Agreement with Call Off notices or separate contracts for each work package within the Project.

может он мое essence of the contract выразил как contracting principals и в новом варианте русском мне все равно оставить эти "существенные условия"

мой новый вариант:
6. Согласуют существенные условия договора и либо разработают генеральное соглашение на предоставление услуг с заявками на поставку либо разобьют договоры по каждому комплексу работ по Проекту.

Explanation:
It is a common mistake for native English speakers to spell "principles" as "principals" and vice versa. Sad really but I often have to correct this spelling mistake in contracts
