(For more information see the contextual use below.) In your case, read "If you choose pay for impressions program" as "If you choose pay for placing imressions/ads/presentations on a hosted site" Example: Q. What is the difference between an "impressions program" and a "click thru program"? A. In our PENNYWEB system the advertisers huge advantage is that they will not be charged for impressions (that means the banner appears on a hosted site and they have to pay for that even if no one is clicking on it) but for visitors (they only have to pay if someone clicks on the hosted banner and so actually gets to the advertisers site).
