Да. это неплохой вариант. Просто слово "диагностика" чаще применяется в русском языке к непосредственному установлению диагноза (хотя бывает и несколько предварительных диагнозов сразу), а здесь речь идет о чисто лабораторном подтверждении (у нас раньше использовали метод группового выявления определенного вида возбудителей - а потом уже следовала конкретизация штаммов, пр. - тоже своего рода "Companion diagnostics").
Но, повторяю, Ваш вариант (комплексная диагностика)современный и понятный.
