Teletherapy Source Parameters
Source parameters are all of the treatment beam constraints that specify how radiation sources are applied to the patient in the treatment plan. In teletherapy plans, these determine how individual beams are positioned on the patient. This data is supplied by the machine manufacturer or is determined from clinical measurements. The system uses this data to determine the limits for treatment setups.
