Возвращаясь к давней теме, можно ли сказать *экспозиция к ХХХ в сыворотке* или это правильно звучит по-другому?

Dose-dependent serum exposure to ХХХ was observed after subcutaneous injection. Serum exposure to ХХХ was equivalent in males and females at all dose levels tested and was linear with dose after the first dose. Peak serum concentrations following subcutaneous administration occurred between 12 and 48 hours post-dose and returned to or near baseline by 168 hours post-dose. Upon weekly, repeated administration of ХХХ, serum exposure remained constant from the first to last dose at the low and mid dose. At the high dose, there was approximately 1.5-1.6X greater exposure after the last dose versus the first dose, as measured by AUC.

Если говорить буквально, то речь идет об "экспозиции сыворотки к препарату". Она зависит как от концентрации препарата в сыворотке, так и от времени воздействия этой концентрации, т.к. концентрация величина не постоянная и изменяется во времени.

neutral  Marina Aleyeva: exposure - многозначное слово. И воздействие (температур), и пребывание (в накуренном помещении), и контакт (с отравляющими в-вами) - все это будет exposure. А вот serum exposure - это концентрация в сыворотке.

neutral  Marina Aleyeva: exposure - далеко не всегда воздействие. См. мой коммент, адресованный Светлане. // Как раз в таком контексте, да еще в сочетании с serum - "концентрация" без вариантов. Если бы речь шла, к примеру, о температурах - тогда да.

  -> В таком контексте практически всегда. Напр. patient exposure. Это относится и к лекарствам и к облучению (экспозиция). Для сыворотки сейчас приведу пример.
