Pereyedaniye Explanation: The condition typical of people with binge eating disorder who frequently eat large amounts of food while feeling a loss of control over their eating. This disorder which is different from binge-purge syndrome (bulimia nervosa) is called in Russian pereye'daniye (overeating, surfeit). Obzhiralovka is too colloquial for this context. There is no specified BED syndrome in Russian. If it is not bulimia, in most cases this pathology stems from the way of life rather than a condition with a physiological background. Anyway, you may call it pishche'voye rasst'roistvo 'posle zas'toliya. Thank you, too Reference: http://www.razvod.com/odp/odp.cgi?search=/Health/Mental_Heal... |

izbytochnost’ pitaniya Explanation: The Russian medical term is “izbytochnost’ pitaniya”. It renders better the “compulsive” nature of this disorder. Although doctors use the term “pereyedaniye” as well, “izbytochnost’ pitaniya” is more common in medical literature, for instance, in the medical classification cited below. I wish you could read these Russian examples (sorry they are not Latin letters): Другие виды избыточности питания Исключено: переедание БДУ (R63.2) последствия избыточности питания (E68) E67.0 Гипервитаминоз A E67.1 Гиперкаротинемия E67.2 Синдром мегадоз витамина B6 E67.3 Гипервитаминоз D E67.8 Другие уточненные формы избыточности питания E68 Последствия избыточности питания http://moulder111.chat.ru/mkb/part1_e.htm По данным профессора Поупа, количество мужчин, страдающих расстройствами в связи с отличиями их телосложения от идеального, в последние 15 лет ... сфокусированные на весе тела (такие расстройства могут привести к отказу от питания или избыточному питанию); http://www.remedicus.ru/index.jsp?id=2403&c=112 Best regards, Artyan Web search. |

pereyedaniye, izbytochnoye potrebleniye pishchi, Explanation: If you need this term for expert readers, please apply "pereyedaniye" or "izbytochnoye pitaniye", "neumerennoye portebleniye pishchi" for more ordinary people you might use "izbutochnoye ptorebleniye pishchi", "neumerennoye potrebleniye pishchi" for people more related to literature upi can use "chrevougodiye" or "chrevoudognichestvo" which is much more close to English term b i n g e eating disorder:) The word of yours is rather "slangish", but "obzhorstvo" can be considered as a part of rather literature style with certian sense to fulmanite such a behavior (US Engl.)
