В строго научной литературе латинские названия не переводятся.
Иногда (в научно-популярной литературе) пишут: поражение кишечной палочкой
Что касается слова "бактерицидный", то оно означает "уничтожающий бактерии" (например, "бактерицидное средство") и здесь совершенно неуместно. Инфекция не может быть бактерицидной, инфекция бывает БАКТЕРИАЛЬНОЙ (можно сказать: "бактериальная инфекция, вызванная кишечной палочкой E. coli").
