English term or phrase: lifetime comorbidity
The source (a study review) says:
1) "The prevalence of lifetime comorbidity of depression, mental illness, and all psychiatric disorders, adjusted for age and sex were 26.8%..."
2) "The lifetime and current rates of anxiety disorders in pediatric IBD patients have been reported at 11% and 4%, respectively..."
3) "The lifetime depression prevalence in the pediatric IBD was found to be 25%..."

I am unsure whether the term "lifetime" implies "chronic illnesses" or "illnesses that occur at any point in life," and I am unsure whether the meaning is the same in all of these three cases. I have seen both explanations for it, and it's hard to make heads or tails of the context.

The co-occurrence of panic disorder and major depression in the same individual is common. A question to be answered is whether the comorbid disorder is a distinct one or may resemble one or other disorder. In this paper we examine whether the comorbid disorder is a distinct condition.

Думаю, что значение "illnesses that occur at any point in life"
